I’ve finally ordered some acrylic markers, even though for a long time I didn’t understand why they were supposed to be so much better than a good old brush and paint, and it turns out they’re actually really fun!

*And I know, people have been telling me this for ages. I just discover things whenever I’m ready to discover them ^^. So keep telling me about the good stuff, I will keep the info safe in the back yard of my brain. It´s nice there.
So, I had some unpleasant white paint spots on my little bench, cause I was painting my shelves next to it - as usual, no need to cover stuff while I paint something.
The spots had been annoying me for a while, until one fine day I’d had enough. I took an acrylic marker and drew worms on them.
Why worms?
Well, the little bench is actually a small compost bin for the flat, in which little compost worms eat organic waste such as old lettuce leaves and so on, and turn it into the best soil for me. I’m a huge fan of this concept, but that’s another story.

Then the acrylic marker were so much fun that I couldn’t stop, and I painted over some stains on my desk stool. (Sadly, I always get so lost in the moment that I forget to take before-pictures.)
Then my backpack needed some upgrade too, cause it was full of dirt salt stains from biking during winter.
Then I went with all that upcycling energy to my old couch XD.
I started painting it years ago, cause I sat down there once with my hair full of fresh bleach and left a huge bleach stain. The bleach left a surprisingly fun light effect on the dark blue fabric, which I immediately had to experiment with. The light salmon colored lines are actually painted with bleach, the darker colors are acrylic paint and acrylic marker.
Almost all my stuff is painted now ^^. Every spot happened to become a new piece of art.
